人在台北!
Finally.. Took the 1pm flight and reached here about 5.40pm. The journey here was quite a bumpy one, due to the strong winds and clouds. Flying into the clouds isn't really a fun thing, the pilot says it actually causes turbulent. Was trying to get some sleep and actually did get some sleep until the old man behind me starts to fidget in his seat and strike up a conversation with the guy sitting next to him. Maybe its due to his age, he had to talk loudly because he has problem hearing the poor guy. And he sure was a chatter mouth, just like a 7-11. Never seems to stop. Mr Poor Guy had to endure it for the rest of the remaining journey, which was about an hour or so.
Upon reaching taiwan, i took the wrong bus and had a detour ride before i got myself into the place i wanted to be in, which was Kunming street, Ximen ding ding ding. my flight landed at 5.40pm. And i reached here at 7plus. What a detour it was!! Then i walked around for 2 hours with the backpack straining my back muscles. Finally found the place i was looking for. The Backpackers Hostel. Actually thought of getting my own room, but for some reason, decided against it. So i found myself sharing a room with 4 girls.. When i checked in they weren't in, and when i came back, 2 of them are still not back, while the other 2 were already sleeping. I just hope i don't wake up looking at 4 Patricia Mok. >.<" Anyway the price for the lodging is very cheap. Only $350TWD, which is equivalent to around 16 singapore dollars.
Went to have my supper at Shilin. Just 2 streets behind the place im staying at. Its a place pretty much like Bugis Village. Just more spacious, cleaner, and bigger! Will take some pictures tomorrow and post it up. The youth here sure know how to dress up, be it their hairstyle or the clothes they wear. And everywhere i went, i see them riding motorbikes. Vespa kind. Mostly teenagers, gals and guys equal in numbers. I don't think some of them have any license though. Some look so small on the already small size bike, its like a monkey on a horse. The food here is dirt cheap. Cost me about $2 to $3 for a decent portion meal. And i had an early dinner at the MRT station's MOS burger. Very tasty burger indeed, with the sauce overflowing. I had to wipe my fingers with every bite i took, cause the sauce keeps spilling out. Maybe its the different outlet from those normal ones, the seats are quite posh and the design being elegant. I was looking at the paper they always serve with the tray. It says MOS burger actually means Mountain, Ocean and Sea. Whats it gotta do with burgers, i have no idea though. >.<"
Tomorrow i might go and catch a movie alone. Something i always wanted to do and now got the chance to. Night time should be going clubbing at Club Luxy with a friend of mine, who happens to be here tomorrow. Time to pen off. Bye!
