Sad.. I waited so long for today.. Hoping i would do well and wow the audience.. Instead.. I think it was one of my worse singing of the song 最长的电影.. The phlegm starts acting up in my throat again.. And i keep drinking water and going to the toilet.. Out of the 140 contestants, i was the 89th and i had some waiting to do, so i went to the staircase to warm up my vocals.. The throat got too dry after 2 tries and i decided to give it a rest, hoping it would be much better during the actual singing. When it finally got to my turn, i was looking forward to standing on that stage and nervous too. Unlike the previous seasons where you get your points immediately after your singing, we were told to go on stage with 5 per group. Each taking turns to sing, and once the 5 finished singing, they will decide who goes to the next round. I thought that was pretty good, cause it means that if out of the 5 im the better one, then i stand a pretty good chance. But was i wrong.. In some groups, they rejected all 5 of them.. And there were actually alot of groups that are totally rejected.. It was demoralizing to see that.. When it came to my group, i was quite happy to see they judge it this way too. Cause some of the better singers are in my group, and by this manner of judging, at least i stand a chance to go to the next round. Lol. The mic they use is definitely much heavier than the ones im used to.. When it was my turn to sing, i wasn't as nervous as before.. But the problem was the feedback of the sound system.. I couldn't really hear myself singing that well.. So i just had to go with my instinct.. Sad.. Throat was dry like F*ck! Although i didn't crack, but i felt i didn't sing well at all.. I thought i could wow the audience in the first round.. Instead i wow myself with this lousy performance.. When the 5 of us stood infront of the judge, XiaoLing Laoshi announce that 3 of us made it through to the next round. 2 guys infront of me got in, so left me and Number 90. I was like, ok, so my journery starts and ends today. Lol.. Then when she announce my name, yeah, i gave a pretty shock impression, i totally don't deserve it.. I looked up and saw XiaoLing Laoshi, she smiles and gave me a slight nod of her head.. Maybe she was able to hear that i can still pitch the keys properly and think i deserve another chance.. No, they don't know im singaporean, so i wasn't given a chance base on that.. I hope i start weak and end up very strong! Please throat pls.. Heal up quickly to show your true power!! GgRRrR~!! So in the end, since they rejected too many.. Only 30 were selected out of the 140.. They had to select another 20 from the rest of the 110.. So the top50 is up.. After i was selected, i had to make a small speech to the camera man.. And i actually just wanted to intro myself and stuff.. But he asked me to say, season 3 got Jinglun, Season 4 got me to represent singapore.. Now if i don't do well, i'm sure alot of people will be saying i was trying to wear too big a hat.. Haiz.. Suddenly the pressure is weighing down.. If i don't perform as good as him, i will probably go back to sg a laughing stock.. Anyway there's another problem here.. I'm not sure if im allowed to blog about the show.. Since tomorrow is the graduation show for season3 contestant, which we had to be present for, i'll ask them about it tomorrow.. Gotta rest early for now. Bye peeps! =D
