Quantum of Solace Review
AhhH.. Finally, went for a movie night out with SiaOLiaO. I have been asking him to hold off watching the movie so that he can watch it with me. Yeah, thats how gay we're. LoL. Well, it just seems that my movie kaki is him and gang, but gang usually come as a couple, for example, Martin and Greentea, Felix and Shuhui, Anthony and Peili, or even Liling and Louis. What the hell, might as well it be just 2 guys. Lol. At least we can check out the girls while we're at it. Anyway, all this couple are probably going to get married next year. WtF!? Its going to be a big blow to my wallet if they all get married at the same time. I was talking to SiaOLiaO about it just now, i wonder if it would be a good idea if they get married on the same day, same hotel, same ballroom? Maybe in the raffles ballroom in Swissotel? Where they can easily sit a hundred and fifty tables. Lol. That would be a First! haha.
Ok, back to the review,
Actually, if you really compare the older days James Bond to the current Daniel Craig version, i would definitely choose this more down-to-earth, masculine and modern Bond. It's more real, rather than rely on those high tech gadgets. The current one concludes well with several excellent action set pieces, and actore Daniel the monkey face sits well protraying that role. Well, i used to hate his face when the trailer of Casino Royale came out, but im definitely satisfied with him playing the role now, haha. The plot for Quantum of Solace is pretty thin, relying more on action scenes. So viewers who are looking for the action-oriented movies are going to leave the movie theatre pretty satisfied as most of the scenes are of Bond getting bombarded with machine-gun fire, engaging airplanes, boats, cars and scores of enemies. But since James Bond has been out for quite sometime, I assume, like SiaOLiaO said, we're the late bloomers for the movie. Haha.
