ahh, I know this entry is at least 1 week late.. Lol.. But i didn't wanna just post a short entry.. So anyway, how was your valentine's day? A friend of mine, broke up with his gf before that.. Must be a pretty sick feeling... Gals.. Sometimes u just don't understand them at all.. I spent mine in church. With God, haha, and some church friends, of course..
We had a very nice dinner and after that, had a very nice programme going on.. I sang a song, 害怕. But too bad, it wasn't recorded or something, just love to sing to a crowd.. Getting addicted to the feeling.. Haha. Got a rose from the audience.. so sweet of them.
The box of chocolate was for the singing, rose from someone who appreciate my singing.. and the candy was a door gift.. =D
After that, went to chill with the usual suspects at a pub in the Red Dot Building. Was really chilling, as there was just us and some customers. So we shifted to Plush Bar.. Really need to find a new place to hang out..
Nothing meaningful happen this past week.. Working as usual at Republic Poly.. Saw the main actors of the upcoming Channel 8 drama series about table tennis. They were there to film a part of their series in the table tennis court and locker room. Dai Yangtian was reading a script about some betrayal. Lol.
Went to the radio interview at 100.3fm yesterday.. Quite pissed with the amount of time i was on air.. Bad time management.. No comments.. Anyway, it was for the Impresario songwriting finalist to showcase their song.. Whatever.. Had quite a few pictures to post, thanks to the Impresario organisers for taking the initiative! 星光2 梁文音's interview was directly before ours, so we managed to catch her in the lobby. Very friendly person, greeted us from far with a upbeat Hello, but none of us replied her. I don't intend to shout, otherwise i would have greeted her definitely.. The rest were probably just stun to see her. LOL. Looks petite in real life, but she has a bounce to her footsteps. Didn't went up to take a picture with her, cause I'm not a fanboy, unless the opportunity arise. I don't think i will ever run up to a celebrity and snap photos with them..


Funny how i don't feel nervous going on air... Look at my hand posture.. Im the only one sitting so comfortably i guess. Haha.











Hong Junyang will be one of the judges for the finals.. I didn't went for the individual workshop he was holding for the finalist.. What a waste.. Could probably catch some comments about my song.. Well, since i know i won't win anything for this competition, i decided to save the time and trouble of my friends' by not inviting anyone to it. =D

Went down to Junction 8 with Alan. Reached there at around 1.30pm. The Impresario 2009 semi-finals was held at lvl 3, an outdoor event. Bad choice... It was usually held for autograph session and all, but i really dislike it, as it is humid, humid and HUMID!!!
The show started off with the solo vocalist, 11 of them in total, a mix of guys and gals this time round. So there will be only one vocal champion this year, instead of the separated male and female champion last year. Most of them were pretty good. Saw a few familiar faces, one of the gals was a finalist and she managed to got into the finals this time round again. One half of last year's vocal duet champion also got into the semis, but got booted out today. Some pretty good group singers got into the finals too. The dance part was a mixture of good and bad. The last street dance group to perform was pretty sleek with their moves. Impressive moves and music arrangement. Nice! They got into the finals of course. Impresario 2009 ambassador Kewei sang one of her originals, which supposingly will be out this year mid. And the last results to announce were the original composition category. Which is the one i took part in. I managed to got into the finals. Thanks for all who voted for me. Though it doesn't require any money to vote, it still take effort to vote. So thanks again. But I doubt i will even get into the Top3, as all the finalist have pretty solid compositions themselves.
Will be busy with a photoshoot for the finalist, appearance on radio show and some music workshop. I forgot when is the radio show going to be, and i suppose it should be 100.3fm, since they are the official sponsor.

V day is creeping up on me.. I felt that i have been cursed, either by some childhood lover or some little girl who used to like me when i was a wee kid.. Cursing me never to be able to spend a single V day with anyone.. I have been on this rotating earth for 25yrs, never once had i get to spend it with anyone. Jinx!
This year will probably be the same.. JINX!!! Never mind.. I will spend it with GOD, in church! There is a church dinner on V day. How cool is that! =D

PS: On when i will be on the radio show, i probably won't blog about it but leave a message on the chatbox.

What a long day it has been today! Woke up early again, for the competition. This time around 10am. Had myself a quick breakfast at home and rushed down to meet Ivan and friends, who accompanied me to Mediacorp. Thanks guys, for spending ur whole day with me!
Reached Mediacorp and while waiting for everyone to be there, and start the sound check and rehearsals, i wandered around the backstage.
Suddenly, i heard a gentle voice calling me "Willis". Sounds familiar and i turned to see Huang JingLun. Lol, i was pretty stun to see him there so early as most of the guest singers i know came not at 1pm, mind you, they usually come at around 5pm the earliest. Talk about discipline. Lol. If you think he's a small star, thus the "discipline". Sorry to inform you, he is already damn popular in Taiwan. Coming back to SG this week to do full-powered promo for his album. And of course to celebrate Lunar New Year with his family.
We chatted for awhile and then i left him to do his own things. Shortly after, rehearsal started, i sang badly as usual, dono why i never do them properly. HAha.
And since Jinglun and i haven't got our hair and makeup done, i didn't ask to have a picture taken with him.
Rehearsals done, Ivan and co, and me headed for our lunch and i got flooded by the God of Fortune kids at the canteen. Haha. One of them came up to me talking about his football manager game. Telling me weird players with weird football skills. Lol. While the other on my other side, keep trying to fake punch me, with "Ah Bish" as his sound effect. I had the worse Chicken Chop of my life, so if any of you guys ever go to the canteen at Mediacorp, you might wanna skip it. It would be better to go on a hunger strike. =D
Since i heard from Martin, the sandwich selling at the vending machine at the taxi stand tastes pretty good, i decided to try it out. Indeed, it lives up to it's fame. Haha.
Went straight to the makeup room to have my hair done. Didn't really see anyone you might be interested in. But Ivan did tell me Felicia Chin walked past the makeup room. Ahh... I wanted to see how beautiful she looks in person. Lol. Too bad..
At this point of time, quite a few people started to sms me, "Sorry, can't make it, with some excuses.." Wah, seriously, if they needed to pay for the tickets, i say they would have come no matter what.. I hate last minute changes..
Ok, skipping those moronic moments, we went back to the theatre and people started flooding the theatre. I was suppose to have a section for my friends and relatives, but kind hearted me, didn't have the heart to tell those strangers to move and not sit at my allocated seats. Ended up with my friends sitting separated seats far away from each other. Some even went to sit in other contestants' allocated seats. Haha. Anyway, thank you guys for coming! Thanks alot.
Sean came with Marcus and 2 of Jinglun's friend, and i end up bringing them up to his holding room to have their album sign by him.

Managed to take a quick group photo before going back to standby for the start of the show. Look at JingLun's signature. Pretty nice right? Look at the writings he wrote. Lol. Like a totally different person. >.<"
Went back down and a Fortune God kid ask me to take some pictures with him. Image me cam whoring with a God of Fortune. Haha. Sweet!
The show went smoothly, and by now, you guys should have known i got first for the competition. Thanks again for the support! Most of my friends and all my relatives stayed back to cam whore with me again. Lol. I guess i took at least a hundred pics today. Is that cam whoring or what?! Most of them are not taken by my camera, so make do with what i have now, will upload the rest once they sent it to me. =]



Ok, and this is the Champion's trophy! It is damn grand. Weighs at least 4kg. OMG, Looks like some Golden Horse Award trophy, even weighs like one. Haha. Nice..
I even had a first today. Someone came up and ask for my signature! Yeah! Lol. I hope better things will come this year for me. Good luck!
