What is life seriously about.. I felt that im getting closer to my goal.. Reaching my passion..
Yet, i don't feel a sense of joy or overwhelming happiness.. I wonder to myself, even if i make it as a singer-songwriter, will i be truly happpy.. Somehow, i felt an emptiness inside of me.. A thief creeped silently in the night, stealing my heart and left me here to live like a zombie.. That was a year ago.. But i'm still going through the flashbacks..

I'm suppose to be going around teaching students the right technique of how to exercise. But here i am, sitting at the gym counter typing an entry for my blog.. Am i in depression or what? End of this month, i will be jobless again.. I quit my fitness instructor job.. Planning to focus on writing songs on a full time basis.. I know it sounds stupid.. But my life is already in one stupid bundle.. Never been thinking straight since last year..
Just bought a new motherboard, processor, power supply and ram from Sim Lim.. Going over to SiaoLiaO's house to get it done.. And together with my newly bought 22inch LCD monitor and speakers.. Another $1000 gone.. I have an almost new set of computer.. Can my life be this simple too?! Just rebuild it..


Its time i live and breath music.. I'm afraid to go into another relationship because firstly, i cant seem to like anyone i know of at this moment and secondly, im afraid of trying out a relationship. What if few months down the road, i find that i don't really love her.. And she is deeply, emotionally attached to me.. That would be hurting..
So, for now, i rather sulk alone every night in my room.. And pray that God will throw my future wife at my feet one day.. (Imagine i'm walking down a road and suddenly this pretty and demure looking gal tripped on her heels and landed on my feet. HAha..) Oh Lord, Please do..

PS: Having a performance again, 3rd of April, Friday. 7:30pm-9pm at Far East Plaza.
Most probably imitate Jay Chou for one songs and singing 2 songs with my own voice..
Anyone can recommend me a Jay song that i have yet to sing?

Work, shooting and performing has been whats keeping me so busy lately.. Didn't really have time to put in a new entry.. Came back home always feeling so tired and drained..

Work is taking a big portion of my time and besides that, i happened to be called up by Channel 8 to act as an extra, in not one, but three of their upcoming drama series. "Ultimatum" being one of them.. There was this one particular scene that i managed to catch them acting. Tay Ping Hui and Li Nanxing face off. Tay Ping Hui tying up Li NanXing with a rope and attaching him to the ceiling of an abandon warehouse. Ok, skip the stuff. Don't even know if im allowed to say them.



Didn't really feel like taking pictures.. Didn't take any pictures for today's role.



Anyway, besides the 3 short acting experience. I also started performing at an event call CLAP. Performed last saturday and i really enjoyed the experience and am craving for more! While i was having my soundcheck at the venue [ Amk Central ], some girls cheered for me. Lol, feels kinda funny, then they ran down from that particular block and gave me some good comments. The actual performance was nice too, as the crowd at AMK was pretty heartwarming and responsive.

Will be having another performance this saturday, at Bukit Merah Central from 7:30pm-9:30pm.

One thing that has been circulating my mind recently is that i have been neglecting my actual goal.. Of writing songs and coming up with some kinda of an EP.. But my job and everything else is taking up all my time.. I need to readjust the situation im in.. Will update about my plans soon..

Oh ya.. Since Jay Chou couldn't make it for the acting role of the legendary Bruce Lee, i decided to hit the gym to get a better body so i might audition for the role.. LOl, just joking..
Been hitting the gym for the past 3 weeks.. Trying to get my ideal body, well-sculpted and all.. Just taking this pictures to see my progress. =]

Woot.. Got over it.. OMG.. Had to take a leave from work to go for such a short rehearsal on friday.. And after that, went down to Marina Square to meet Martin and Co. to plan for his wedding.. Only reached home at 2plus...
Woke up at 8.30am on Saturday to prepare for the Grand Finals.. Omg.. Was feeling so sleepy and yet having to drag myself up to choose my performing attire (YES, I usually choose my outfit on the day itself..) Since i wasn't going to be a contestant for the Vocal category i didn't want to overdress myself, so i decided to go with a ballad looking rocker style. Haha. Since it fits my song too..
Reached just slightly b4 12pm.. Everything was slow, SLOW and SLOW!!!
Makeup and hair was done by The Hair Secret and Xquizit Hair Design respectively.
One of the makeup artist was my most recent ex's friend, Adeline. We were both pretty surprised to see each other. Chatted abit about nothing in particular and skipped the taboo name and subject. Lol.. She did a good job for my makeup, considering the fact that i had severe eyebags, Lol, and the hairstylist was great too.. Very professional..
Hair wasn't done when i took the picture though..

All the rehearsals were completed at 4.30pm.. By then, im already starving to death, waiting for the promised lunchbox.. Well, actually its dinner, since its suppose to come at 5pm.. And it came.. And i nearly cried.. Food was horrible.. Since i have been eating 6 meals a day since i started my Fitness Instructor job, i wasn't used to eating so little and so "often"..
7.30pm arrived and if u don't count the opening song for Impresario 2009 as the first song, then i'm the first one to perform! Yeah, by then, i was dying of hunger, fatigue and the blistering coldness was chilling my spine.. While waiting for the cue to appear on stage, i was practically trembling like a vibrator.. "Handphone vibrator la.. Don't think dirty pls..."
I went on stage, DJ Ah Ken from 100.3fm introduced me and i felt a warmth.. Ahh, not angels upon me.. But the warmth and heat of the spotlight! Haha.. SHiok man.. Surprisingly, i had totally no stage fright, i sang at peace, doing what i love doing best, and just when i was about to end my song, someone from the audience cheered, and i forgot the lyrics. Wahaha.. I mumbled my way like Jay Chou, and managed to remember the last line.
Overall, i was very satisfied with my performance. Will try to upload it when i have the video.

双J is the name for this vocal group. I see them as a very marketable group, able to sing well, looks good and well.. I dono what else.. Oh, yeah, dedicated. The guy took part in quite a few competitions, thats how i know him. He took part last year too. Great to see them win a 1 year performing contract with Ocean Butterflies.. Was suppose to stand between them, but decided not to, in case they are a real couple.. HAha. Now I look more like their manager standing beside them. >.<"
I didn't win anything, as expected. Since i already knew and foresee that i won't win anything, i didn't have any disappointment too. I only wanted to have more stage experience. =D But i will also do well to remember that i have to write songs that are more commercial.. So if my future songs sound too Jay Chou to you. You know its for the market, not for me. Haha..
Tomorrow is a filming day for me. Another first. Suppose to act out a few lines in an upcoming Channel 8 drama series, 想握你的手。Only a few lines, but who knows where it will lead me. =D
Tuesday will be a meeting with a producer who might be interested in signing a songwriting contract with me.
Let's see how it goes.. Soar with me! To greater heights, to greater achievements! Cheers!
PS: Good job to Impresario 2009 committee. Great work you guys have done, especially in keeping us happy! =D
PSS: Oh yeah.. Our poor merlion got struck by lightning..
