Didn't have much time to prepare for the finals of Kovan SuperStar.. Everyday i had something on, and only managed to practise my 3 songs during the past 2 days.. Because i picked the rock genre, I decided to go with One Night In Beijing.. It was suppose to be a good song choice, considering the fact that my forte is reaching those high notes and falsetto.. The only thing that is bothering me is, i only had 2 days to be very familiar with the song lyrics and not screw them up on stage.
Well, i did screw up abit of the lyrics on stage, and it was kinda obvious. Lol. I tried my best though.. Because i was trying to remember the lyrics, i didn't really had much showmanship for this song, which was the main reason why i chose this song.. But i still think i did pretty well for 2 days of practise..
The next song was a duet with Ambrose, except for the hiccups of the sound system at the start of the song, i think we did pretty well..
Results were announced and i managed to squeeze into the Top 6, who will have to sing their 3rd song, which will decide who will be crown the winner..
I sang my last song, Superwoman by Gary Cao Ge.. I really shouldn't have done that song.. If i had known everyone will be sticking with safer song choices instead of whacking their most vocally challenged song in the last round.. Peter Laoshi said i was able to handle the vocal techniques of the song, but wasn't good on the expression of the song.. Which i have to admit, because after singing so many rock songs for the past few days, Superwoman was kinda hard for me to sing today.. And so i wasn't able to concentrate on the expression of the song..
Results were announced, I got 1st runner up. Well, i guess i was used to being the winner, that 1st runner up was like an uncomfortable position for me to be in.. Lol.. Well, Adam Lambert is damn good and he got 2nd place too, so i shall seek comfort in that. Hehe!
Well, everyone seems to disperse damn fast, after the prize giving. PoOoffFf!! Everyone is gone. Lol. Didn't manage to take pictures with the rest of the contestants.. Only pictures of Peter Laoshi, Nat, Jeremy and SiaOLiaO..

After the competition, SiaoLiao, me and Germaine went to meet Felix and his gf at Ion for dinner, But seriously WTF!! Their foodcourt has quite a variety of stalls, but the number of seats they have is pretty pathetic.. Lol. We went to Wisma instead, and ended up paying 70bucks for 3 dishes. Lol. WTF!! Foodcourt is never the same again.. Haha.. Ouch!
Didn't waste much time to head down to BEDS at Mohd Sultan.. For the Westin gathering.. We were one of the early birds.. As expected.. Who wanna turn up early for drinking sessions..
