Hi, thanks for checking out my blog. Hope you like it.
I'm just a normal guy who likes music, and with it being my passion, i hope to achieve something great from it.
Loves singing and occasionally writing songs. Imitating Jay Chou is a hobby of mine. =]
Special Mention
2008 Impresario Male Solo Vocal Champion
2009 Channel 8 Imitating Singers Champion
2009 Impresario Original Composition Grand Finalist
2009 Kovan Superstar 1st Runner Up
If it's money you are seeking, you shouldn't even be considering a career in the music business in the first place. Money is only a side benefit that may or may not ever materialize. The true reward is to be able to share your creative talents with an appreciative audience! Cheers!
A Jay Chou fan wrote this song hoping he would either hear it or someday sing it. They approached me through my youtube channel and asked to sing it. Such wonderful fans of his eh? And its a pretty good song. Have a listen to it. Imagine Jay's voice or at least me imitating him singing this song. Haha. Won't it be nice? I really like how they wrote some parts of the lyrics. So yeah, I might most probably be singing it after my finals. Jay Chou fans FTW!! =]
Went to Focus Music to practise for Stardust2010. Finalist were to rehearse once with the music teacher, our very own Jeff Teay. Hahaha.
First time that he actually gave opinion about how I should go about singing a song. Cause usually we just go and sing and I do it my way. But now he is the vocal teacher. And it's a competition after all. So it's nice to hear someone else's opinion.
Was actually rehearsing 新不了情 but decided to change it when I heard some of the finalist singing "power" songs. Haha. So I picked "Superwoman". Really wanna win this competition as this will be the last singing competition I'm gonna take part in. Time to focus on my Ep Album and stuff. Hard to concentrate on the songwriting and stuff when I have competitions going on.
After that Joe came to pick me up and we went to fetch Sebas, Cat and Sta to go for our JB trip. Sal was to meet us at the check point with her friends. But we didn't really click well with her friends so we decided to go for our Makan trip on our own. I prefer the slow and steady pace of having the ability to choose where and when I wanna eat. =]
This was our last stop. We actually had alot of food before we stopped by this place for desserts. The pics are with Sta. It was a feast and as usual we forgot to take pics till we're done eating them. Wahaha. Happily looking at the menu while Joe took some pics. Sebas with his "steam" look. Digging into his Yam Snow. Thats my Banana Ship. Lol. I thought its usually call Banana Split? They said I posed like a happy kid with my Ice cream. >.<"
That's Joe's Fruit Snow. Lots of fruits in it. Cat and Sta got too full eating the BBQ food and stuff, so they decided to share this Chocolate Snow. Sebas got tired of eating it bit by bit. So he stir the ice (which is something similar to Ice Kachang) into a puddle and drank it. Lol.
Overall, it was a fun day spent with funny people. Especially when Cat and Sebas keeps making fun of each other. Wahaha. Entertainment~
Went to have a Japanese meal today with Joe. As usual he came to pick me up. Such a nice guy. Yesterday we picked Sebas up at AMK, Cat at hougang, Sta at Tampines before heading to JB and he was ok with that. Cause we were craving for Ramen. Haha, we were late. Reached Central Mall (the one at Clarke Quay MRT right?) There's actually this place called The Helipad. At the rooftop of that mall. A chill out place with an open top looking down at the clarke quay nightspots and Singapore River. We went to take a peep, but decided I prefer to eat my Ramen. Haha.
Went to find my Ramen, but both the restaurants I wanted to eat were close. Left with Ajisen Ramen. Bleah~ Decided to go Clarke Quay to see if they have any other nice Japanese Restaurant.
At the end of the last bridge which is near Attica, there's this one called Tomo Izakaya. We were really hungry and ordered quite a few items. Haha.
There are different type of seats. The one with a more Japanese feel or The normal tables and chairs which is what we chose. Their dinner time is from 6pm-1am. ^^ The Menu cover is made of wood. Soft-shell crab sushi. Lotus Root Chips. Tastier than potato chips, healthier too. Not too oily. Haha. Unagi Handroll. Burdock Chips. I really dono how to describe the taste. Its kinda crunchy? I forgot what its called. Lol. My usual tempura udon.
They serve free flow of greentea, hot or cold for just 2 bucks. Or you can order soft drinks which cost around 5bucks?
End it off with greentea ice cream with red beans as toppings. The price is pretty much the same as most Japanese restaurants. =]
