Ar! Been 1 month since I last updated my blog?! Lol. Been super lazy.. Yeah, I'm 72 yrs old.. Since I'm born in the yr 1938.. Ah, my fav number 72. Anyway, been busy with some stuff. Prepared for a lousy competition. Don't really wanna talk about it anymore. Lol.
More important stuff is, I'm preparing for a Christian event. Well, it's some performance held in Singapore, Muar and KL. Ohh~ It's been centuries since I last went up to KL. I'll be singing some Jay Chou's songs. 菊花台 and 说好的幸福呢. And some Christian songs. For 菊花台, I get to wear a custom made Emperor robe. Had some rehearsals with my live band. Shiok. Nothing beats singing with a live band.
We get to jam in a warehouse! It's much bigger than this picture. Aircon, huge space, comfortable chairs. Everything you need, for free! Wahaha, the power of God.
Yeah, I actually went for rehearsal on my birthday. Lol. Luckily managed to run off on time to meet up with Ivan and friends. Just a simple dinner with close friends. =]
Guess I'm really over the age of partying in nightspots to celebrate birthdays.. I got an old soul I guess.
I guess this Christian event will be held till Sep, then I'll most probably do a duet with 100.3FM DJ Kemin. And after that, I'll focus back on my album.
Yeah yeah, I know.. I have been dragging the album for like really long. But, I'm always seeking perfection in my work.. It seems like they are never good enough for me. Maybe I asked too much from myself.. Music is suppose to be enjoying, not a torture. I wonder why I keep torturing myself with it.. >.<"
